Silviculture

Silviculture is the science, technology and art of fostering forest ecosystems that include all cultivation activities, such as seeding, nursery, budding (planting), and maintenance as well as protection and monitoring of a forest ecosystem (natural / plant). In the midst of increasingly alarming forest damage and degradation, the Silviculture Study Program is at the forefront of returning the glory of Indonesia’s forests.

Develop the science and technology of silviculture needed to manage natural forests and to establish and maintain sustainable plantation forests.
