Biomedical Science
Graduates of the Biomedical Science Study Program have the ability to engineer biological materials in the vaccine industry, sera, stem cells, cell products, toxins and diagnostic kits. Bachelor of Biomedical Science can also work as a researcher at research institutions in the field of biomedicine, animal model developers and have competence in the use of biomedical instruments in diagnostic laboratories in hospitals and clinics.
Develop biomedical sciences by cultivating expertise in the formulation of drugs and the creation of biological materials.
This study program has an advantage in biomedical development through the One Health approach with an emphasis on the development of animal models, biological materials and biopharmaceutical preparations from tropical natural raw materials (marine, forestry and others).
Graduates of the Biomedical Science Study Program can work in various fields, such as:
- Institutions/laboratories that develop and provide animal models
- Biological materials industry (vaccines, sera, stem cells and cell products)
- Medicines and biopharmaceuticals, health instrumentation
