Bioinformatics is concerned with the application of analysis and computational methods to gain insight from large, complex molecular biology data. The results obtained are very useful to address various problems that arise, among others, in the fields of health, agriculture, food, and environment.
Strengthening the involvement of bioinformatics as an important part of the problem-solving strategy faced in the era of technological advancement and industrial revolution.
- Graduates have specific competencies, namely big data omics analysis and integrative approaches in multiomics analysis.
- Having networks and cooperation with government agencies, industries, and international institutions in developing bioinformatics.
