Biopharmaca Research Center (Biopharmaca)
Vision :
To be a leading research center in biopharmaca areas by optimizing added value of natural resources at national and international level.
Program :
- Empowering all the potency in IPB e.g. hu man resource, facilities and research pro grammes in related units or Laboratory in order to develop biopharmaca products.
- Building collaborations with various bi op har maca’s stake holder both in National and International levels through the use of bio diversity and indigenous knowledge.
- To conduct 4 research programs in the field of 1) natural resources and bio-conservation, 2) chemical structure elucidation and biological assay; 3) formulation and product development; and 4) social and economic empowerment which is supported by conservation and cultivation unit of Biopharmaca.

Cooperation :
BRC has received both national and international grants (national grants from Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Drug Control Agency, Ministry of Research and Technolgy, Ministry of National Education; international grants from Oxford Natural Products Company in UK, International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) in Japan, and Nong Feng Company Malaysia). BRC has also developing research products in collaboration with private sectors (e.g. PT. Indofarma, PT. Biolife, PT. Bintang Toedjoe, PT. Agrofarmaka Nusantara, PT. Tu lada, Zahda Ashira Mulia, and PT. Vitaher).
