Since the third semester, Firman has been determined to develop himself in the business field.  His seriousness in the field is evidenced by his participation in startup competitions.  In 2019, Firman and the team became Runners UP 3 Fintech Hackathon Competition organized by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemnristekdikti) in collaboration with the Bandung Institute of Technology.  Firman and the team proposed a startup idea called bossku.id, one of the business platforms that brought together student entrepreneurs and investors.

Currently, Firman is developing a startup platform named donordesa.com.  The startup aims to build an entrepreneurial climate in the village with a crowdfunding system.  From 191 teams from all over Indonesia, the donordesa.com startup passed as Finalist of the Top 10 National Business Plan Ecopreneur organized by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, Semarang.

At present, Firman is a beneficiary of the Leadership Scholarship and at the same time was entrusted as President of the Bogor Leadership House in 2019
