UTBK-SNBT at IPB University? Don’t Miss It, Here Are the Required Documents for the Exam

IPB University has been selected again as one of the organizers of the Computer-Based Written Examination for the National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) for 2025.
Unlike the previous year, the exam will be held in a single session from April 23 until May 4, 2025.
As one of the pathways to enter public universities (PTN), UTBK-SNBT participants need to prepare thoroughly. This includes not only studying the exam material but also ensuring they have all the required documents and materials to bring on the exam day.
Here are some important rules and required documents for UTBK participants, as quoted from the website snpmb.bppp.kemendikbud.go.id:

Participants must have a SNPMB student account. SNPMB account registration can be done on the SNPMB portal.
*Participants must bring their SNBT participant card. Log into the SNPMB Portal and select the UTBK-SNBT registration menu to download the participant card.
* Participants must be 12th-grade high school (SMA/SMK/MA) students or equivalent in 2025, or equivalent education program Paket C participants in 2025 with a maximum age of 25 years (as of July 1, 2025). They must bring an ID card, student card, or passport.
* Participants who have not received their ijazah must bring a student certificate for 12th grade, which includes: identity, includes name, class, NISN and NPSN; recent photograph (color); signature of the School/Madrasah Principal; and the school’s stamp/seal in accordance with the regulations available on the snpmb.bppp.kemendikbud.go.id website.
* A legalized photocopy of the ijazah (for the 2023 and 2024 graduates).
* Graduates from foreign high schools must bring a ijazah that has been equivalized.
* Participants are expected to be in good health to ensure the smooth conduct of the exam.
* Participants must appear neat, wearing formal attire and shoes during the exam.
The UTBK-SNBT 2025 test material consists of two major components, i.e. Scholastic Potential Test and Literacy Test. The Scholastic Potential Test includes General Reasoning, General Knowledge and Understanding, Reading Comprehension and Writing, and Quantitative Knowledge. The Literacy Test components include Literacy in Indonesian, Literacy in English, and Mathematical Reasoning.
IPB University’s Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Dr drh Deni Noviana said, “The number of UTBK-SNBT registrants at IPB University this year is 17.969 students, an increase of 8,07 percent compared to 2024, which had 16.627 students.” (dr) (IAAS/RWA)
