IPB University Facilitates Disability Participants in UTBK-SNBT 2025

Limitations are not an obstacle to continuing education to a higher level. This is evident in the implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination-National Selection Based on Tests (UTBK-SNBT) 2025 held at IPB University. In this exam, IPB University demonstrates its commitment to inclusive education that is friendly to disabilities.
One of the participants is Josephine Nurhayati Netanya from the Special Needs School (SLB) Santi Rama, a hearing-impaired individual. Josephine took the exam at the IPB University Vocational School Campus on Wednesday (4/24).
According to Josephine’s mother, in addition to being skilled in IT, her child has shown talent from an early age in various extracurricular activities such as gymnastics and swimming. “Since she was little, she has always shined, she participated in gymnastics, and she was always at the forefront among her friends,” she said.
Another disability participant is Ana Sabiya Nugrahani, also a hearing-impaired individual. Ana took the exam at the same location. Ana is known to have talent in painting and culinary arts. Her paintings have even been sold for high prices at exhibitions organized by the Ministry of Cooperatives. She is also a swimming athlete who will represent the city of Bogor in the Regional Sports Week.
Eneng, Ana’s mother, appreciates the implementation of the UTBK at IPB University. “The service is very good. We are grateful to be able to participate in the selection here,” she said.
During the UTBK-SNBT held at the IPB University Vocational School Campus, there were three disability participants involved, consisting of two hearing-impaired individuals and one physically disabled individual.
IPB University ensures that all participants, without exception, can take the exam comfortably and smoothly. This commitment is a tangible part of the campus’s efforts to support inclusive education, as well as to promote equality and active participation for all prospective students, regardless of limitations.
