“Maintaining physical and mental health before UTBK is very important so that participants can focus and perform optimally during the exam,” said dr Mimi. What are the tips that can be done? Here are the reviews.
1. Don’t Stay Up Late
The first tip that Dr Mimi gave was to get enough rest, which is 7 to 9 hours of sleep a night. Avoid staying up late a few days before the exam.
2. Consume Nutritious Food
Second, consume healthy and nutritious food. dr Mimi advised not to skip breakfast on exam day because breakfast can provide energy and improve concentration.
3. Maintain Body Fluids
The third tips is to maintain the body’s fluid needs by drinking at least eight glasses of water a day. She suggests avoiding sugary and caffeinated drinks, especially before the exam.
4. Light Exercise
Fourth, stick to light exercise at home for 15 to 30 minutes. Strenuous physical activities that risk injury should also be avoided.
5. Meditation
The run-up to the exams must be mind-boggling. Therefore, Dr Mimi emphasises the importance of managing stress wisely. This can be through meditation, light exercise, or fun activities at home.
“Unmanaged stress can lower your immune system,” says dr Mimi.
6. Set a Study Schedule
Set a disciplined study schedule while still giving your body and mind a break.
7. Prayer
Finally, dr Mimi reminded the importance of worship and prayer. “After all the efforts have been made, don’t forget to pray to be given smoothness and peace of mind during the exam,” she concluded.
