Sarah Firjani, Ruangguru’s Talent CoC, Represents IPB University in the National Achievement Student Selection 2025

Sarah Firjani’s name has gone viral and become the talk of the town among young people. Because she performed stunningly as Ruangguru’s Clash of Champions (COC) talent some time ago.
Now, her name has surfaced again as she has just been named IPB University’s 1st Ranked Outstanding Student and will represent the university at the national level of the prestigious event.
“Alhamdulillah, I feel very grateful to be awarded as the Best 1 Outstanding Student of IPB 2025. Honestly, I did not expect to get this mandate,” she said.
She admitted that, from the beginning of entering IPB University, she was always amazed by outstanding students. “It feels like I want to be able to follow in their footsteps. Apparently, the hope that was once tucked in the heart has now become a reality,” Sarah told IPB Public Relations, (13/3).
Sarah is a student of Nutrition Science Study Program, Faculty of Human Ecology (Fema) batch 59. Since the beginning of being a student, she likes to explore many things. Starting from writing works, public speaking, organizations, self-development activities, volunteering activities, and various competitions.
Every semester, Sarah always upgrades herself with different activities. For example, in her first year, she learned more about scientific writing skills and tried to participate in various competitions.
“In my second year, I tried to join a research project with Tanoto Foundation and UNESCO. Then, in the next year, I tried to participate in international seminars and symposiums and presented my research results,” Sarah said.
“From this opportunity, I had the chance to get an award as the best presenter among delegates from Japan, Thailand, and China,” added the winner of the Best Presenter Awards The 30th Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium, Jiangsu University, China in 2024.
In line with her life motto “Being meaningful by inspiring”, Sarah hopes that after being named IPB University’s Best Achievement Student 1, she can continue to provide a lot of inspiration and good values to others.
“I consider all the opportunities and abilities that I get are only a mandate so that the essence of the award as an outstanding student is to be a figure who continues to share,” said the student who had won the UNESCO Young Researcher as Researcher-Tanoto Scholars Research Award in 2023.
“As a student of IPB University, of course I want to give the best for IPB University wherever I am. I want to invite friends to become students who are empowered with knowledge and spread achievements, “continued Sarah.
Sarah is determined to prepare herself to represent IPB University in the 2025 National Achievement Student event by focusing on self-development through learning, capacity building, and better self-understanding.
She also seeks to raise her profile as a student by developing excellent achievements at the international level, improving her English language skills, and refining her creative ideas.
The IPB University 2025 Outstanding Student Award is a form of appreciation to the best students. They are selected not only from academic achievements, but also active in various fields, innovation, empowerment, leadership organizations and various national and international competitions.
Of the 13 best candidates, (11 Undergraduate students and 2 Diploma students), Sarah Firjani Hanisah came out as the Best Achievement Student 1 at the Undergraduate level, followed by Raden Pradjasoejatma (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science) as Best 2, and Nurul Fauzi (Faculty of Economics and Management) as Best 3.
Meanwhile, for the Diploma level, the title of Best Outstanding Student 1 was won by M Fajar Ramadhan (Food and Nutrition Service Industry Management), followed by Citra Ayu Shafinas (Digital Communication and Media) as Best 2.
“The thirteen finalists of Outstanding Students of IPB University who are in the room today are actually winners. They are valuable assets for IPB University and the nation,” said Vice Rector of IPB University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Deni Noviana when giving the award.
