PT BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah Receives Indonesia Best Sharia Rural Bank 2025 Award
PT BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah, one of the subsidiaries of PT Bogor Life Science and Technology (BLST) Holding Company of IPB University, was awarded a prestigious award by Warta Ekonomi as Indonesia Best Sharia Rural Bank 2025 with Development of Sustainable Sharia Economic Ecosystem through Productive Waqf Management.
This award was given at the Indonesia Sharia and Halal Top Brand Awards 2025 event, recently. The award was received directly by Prof Lukman M Baga as President Commissioner of PT BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah.
In his speech, Prof Lukman M Baga expressed his pride for this achievement. He also emphasized that PT BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah is a sharia rural bank owned by IPB University.
He added that PT BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah has a significant contribution in the agricultural sector, which is often considered a high-risk sector. “As a BPRS owned by IPB University, we are proud to be able to contribute to the agricultural sector, around 60-70 percent of the portfolio is the agriculture, food, and beverage sector,” said Prof Lukman M Baga.
With this award, PT BPRS Botani Bina Rahmah further strengthens its position as the best Islamic community bank in Indonesia that continues to innovate in developing a sustainable Islamic economic ecosystem, one of which is through productive waqf management.
This award complements the awards that have previously been obtained throughout 2022-2024, namely:
