Get Ready, Registration for the Entrance Pathway for Student Council Presidents will be Opened, Don’t Miss the Terms and Date of Registration

IPB University is again preparing to open the pathway for the President of the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) in 2025. This pathway has been started since 2019 as one of IPB University’s ways to appreciate and give appreciation to prospective students who have significant leadership experience at the high school level.

Through this pathway, IPB University recognizes the importance of leadership skills, organizational abilities, and experience in collaborating and managing an organization which are expected to be important assets in academic and student life on campus.

According to the Director of Education Administration and New Student Admission (DAPPMB), Dr Utami Dyah Syafitri, the joining of student council leaders to the IPB University admission pathway aims to support the diversity of prospective students’ abilities which are not only seen from the academic aspect, but also non-academic skills that can contribute to campus dynamics. 

“IPB University wants to attract individuals who have leadership potential and broader abilities in organizations, which can have a positive impact on the campus and its academic community,” she said.

The Student Council President pathway is one of the independent selections to find prospective students who have proven to have a leadership spirit as chairman of the Student Council during high school, as well as having adequate academic abilities to be educated at IPB University to become prospective leaders who have high intellectuals, or intellectuals who have a strong leadership spirit. 

“It is expected that this OSIS President pathway will produce prospective leaders, both national, regional, company and community leaders who lead with a scientific approach, or apply scientific based leadership,” said Dr Utami.

The qualifications of applicants are graduates in 2025 and have been the head of the student council during high school / MA / SMK for at least one period. This is reinforced by the Principal’s Recommendation Letter that the applicant is a true student at his/her school, has been the head of the student council for at least one period, and is recommended to enroll in the Student Council President pathway, equipped with the Principal’s Decree on the appointment of the applicant as the head of the student council.

The following documents must be uploaded during the registration process:

• Recent photo pass with red/white background
• Letter of Recommendation for Student Council President from the Principal (the template is available on the registration page)
• Principal’s Decree on the appointment as OSIS President
• Certificates of extracurricular achievements, maximum 3 (if any)
• Family Card (KK)
• Parents’ income slip (upload Total Income Letter / Salary Slip for workers in the formal sector or Income Certificate from RT / RW or Lurah / local village head for workers in the informal sector / not working)
• Proof of payment of electricity bills for the last 3 months
• Commitment of tuition fee payment (template available on the registration page)

• Choosing an Entrance Path: May 05 – June 05, 2025 at 14.00 WIB
• Payment of Registration Fee: May 05 – June 05, 2025 at 18.00 WIB
• Filling in Biodata: May 05 – June 05, 2025 at 11:59 pm
• Announcement and Download Tuition Fee Bill: June 20, 2025
• Online Registration: June 20 – 26, 2025 at 23.59 WIB
• Tuition Fee Payment Period: June 20 – 26, 2025 at 21.00 WIB
