Enhancing Literacy Through Fashion, IPB University Library Becomes a New Venue, Not Just a Place for Learning and Reading

The Institute for Information Management and Digital Transformation (LMITD) has collaborated with the IPB University Sustainable Fund, Business, and Investment Development Agency to host the Campus Fashion Festival (CFF) x Glam Expo 2025, themed “Stylish in Innovation.”
Several activities are scheduled, including the Campus Fashion Festival (March 6–8), Kids Fashion Show Festival (March 6), Expo: Digital Transformation (May 6–31), and Essay Competition (March 13–April 18). The event took place at the IPB University Library on March 6.
Prof Arif Satria, the Rector of IPB University, congratulated the organizers of the CFF x Glam Expo 2025. According to him, this event is important to increase awareness of products that have been developed through IPB Merchandise.
“IPB University has abundant talent, skills, and innovations that support students’ creativity in developing businesses,” he stated.
Dr Indah Yuliasih, Acting Task Manager (Plt) Leader of the IPB University Sustainable Fund, Business, and Investment Development Agency, expressed hope that events held at the IPB University Library would change the perception of libraries as merely places for study and reading.
“Usually IPB University students are only familiar with the agricultural and processed industries, here we give insight to students if life is not only learning but also starting to do business now,” she explained.
Dr Syafitri Hidayati, Vice leader of LMITD, remarked that this initiative aims to enhance literacy among the IPB University community. The exhibition is designed to be engaging and interactive, featuring a fashion product bazaar at the same location.
“The IPB University Library is very open to anyone wishing to organize similar educational activities,” she added. (IAAS/RIN)
