Strengthening Health Care Field, IPB University Signed MoU with PT Bundamedik Tbk

In order to improve research and training related to health care, IPB University together with PT Bundamedik Tbk signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), IPB Dramaga Campus. The signing of the MoU was done on the sidelines of the Plenary Session of the Board of Trustees (MWA) and Rabuan Bersama IPB University (15/1).

On this occasion, IPB University and PT Bundamedik Tbk established cooperation related to the tridarma of higher education including education, research, and community service. 

Dr Agus Heru Darjono, President Director of PT Bundamedik Tbk expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation. He was honored to be able to establish cooperation with IPB University.

“Bundamedik has a mission to play an active role in the health sector and is a partner of IPB University. Our future program will develop a mini MBA to talent the senior managers in the Bundamedik group,” he explained.

In addition to research and training, he also stated that this collaboration is expected to touch on aspects of improving the health of students, education personnel and lecturers. 

Prof Arif Satria, Rector of IPB University said, from the results of the tracer study of S1 and D3 graduates in 2023, as many as 65 percent of graduates had worked, 15 percent continued their studies, and 4.2 percent were entrepreneurs. Only 15 percent have not gotten a job after 6 months of graduation.

“The satisfaction index of companies that receive graduates from IPB University is 84,4 percent. This means that these companies are very satisfied with the performance of IPB University alumni,” he explained when delivering IPB’s performance report for 2024 in the Plenary Session of the Board of Trustees (MWA) and Rabuan Bersama. 

He added that the company’s satisfaction with the performance of IPB University graduates was assessed from various aspects. Starting from the expertise factor based on the field of science, the use of information technology to teamwork shown by the alumni. (AS) (IAAS/RUM)
