IPB University’s School of Business Conducts Academic Visit to the University Center of Naama Algeria

Dean of the School of Business (SB) of IPB University, Prof Noer Azam Achsani, participated in an international academic visit to the University Center of Naama, Algeria. This visit is part of the framework of academic and cultural cooperation between Indonesia and Algeria, as well as exploring opportunities for collaboration in the fields of education, research, and entrepreneurship.

The visit began with an official welcome by Prof H Safi, Director of the University Center of Naama, who expressed his appreciation for this collaboration. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of synergy between countries in the field of education to support innovation and sustainable development. 

During this visit, various seminars and discussions were held to strengthen the relationship between higher education institutions from both countries. One of the key moments was Prof Noer Azam Achsani’s participation in an academic discussion session on entrepreneurial innovation. 

Prof Azam provided strategic views on the importance of innovation support for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and cross-institutional collaboration.

“MSMEs as pillars of the global economy must receive special attention through research and development. Higher education institutions have a vital role in creating a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem,” he explained. 

He also underlined the use of technology and innovative policies. According to him, technology and adaptive regulations can be the key to the growth of MSMEs in the modern era. 

The presentation received appreciation from participants, including students, academics, and leaders of educational institutions, who engaged in interactive discussions during the event.

The visit ended with a working discussion that discussed various collaboration opportunities between SB IPB and the University Center of Naama. Topics of focus included joint research, student exchange programs, and the development of innovations in education and entrepreneurship.
