IPB University and Ho Chi Minh University of Technology Vietnam Explore Collaboration in Human Resource Development

The Human Resource Development Center (P2SDM) of the Institute for Economic Studies and Development (LKPE) at IPB University recently conducted a working visit to Ho Chi Minh University of Technology, Vietnam.
The visit aimed to explore potential collaborations between the two institutions in the fields of human resource (HR) development and academics.
The IPB University delegation was led by Dr Amiruddin Saleh (Chief of P2SDM), Dr Yulina Eva Riany (Chief of HR Research and Development Division), and Dr Johan Wetik (Quality Control Unit), along with five other team members.
Dr Yulina Eva Riany stated that during the meeting, both institutions discussed strategic collaboration opportunities, particularly in HR development.
The proposed cooperation includes cultural exchange programs, academic mobility for lecturers, educators, and students through inbound and outbound staff programs, as well as executive training focused on technological development and capacity building for educators and lecturers.
“With this collaboration, we hope to create various joint programs that benefit students and educators from both countries while also strengthening academic and cultural ties between Indonesia and Vietnam,” said Dr Yulina.
She added that this visit marks the first step in fostering a closer partnership between IPB University and Ho Chi Minh University of Technology, aligning with both institutions’ vision to enhance global networks in educational innovation and research.
