SPs IPB University Receives Partner Award for Degree Pilot Scholarship Program from Kemenhub
The Graduate School (SPs) of IPB University received an award for the degree pilot scholarship program partner from the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub). The award was given at Santika Premiere Hayam Wuruk Hotel, Jakarta (2-4/12).
In addition to IPB University, a total of nine universities received the award, namely the University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Bandung Institute of Technology, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, State University of Jakarta, Surabaya State University, and the Indonesian College of Shipping and Land Transportation Polytechnic.
In addition to the awards, the Ministry of Transportation also provided scholarships and tuition assistance for Ministry of Transportation officials and delivered an overall evaluation of the degree pilot program. The evaluation includes the implementation of the ongoing Kemenhub scholarship program, the number of students, graduates and achievements, and student research from Kemenhub apparatus.
In 2020, the Ministry of Transportation has sent eight students to IPB University to take part in S2 and S3 programs. They are studying in the Business Management, Management Science, and Agro-Maritime Logistics Study Programs and all have graduated by early 2024.
Present in this activity were representatives from SPs IPB University Prof Titi Candra Sunarti, Deputy Dean for Resources, Cooperation, and Development and Fatmasari Siregar, SP, MM, Chair of Public Relations, Cooperation, and New Student Admission (PMB).
Prof Titi Candra said that currently SPs IPB University has several cooperation partners with various ministries, one of which is the Ministry of Transportation. Every year the Ministry of Transportation always sends its apparatus to continue their studies at SPs IPB University. For her, this award is a spirit for SPs IPB University to continue to improve the quality of service even better.
“To improve service quality, every semester we hold monitoring and evaluation (monev) with cooperation partners. This monev is carried out together with the study program (prodi) and supervisors to get accurate information so that students can complete their studies on time,” she said.
Prof Titi Candra Sunarti added that SPs IPB University has 57 master programs and 43 doctoral programs and currently the acceptance of new students for doctoral, master and professional engineer programs of SPs IPB University is re-opened in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year until December 30, 2024.
“We hope that the Ministry of Transportation can send its apparatus to continue their studies at SPs IPB University to register in this even semester. For registration information can be accessed online through the admissions.ipb.ac.id page,” she added (HBL / Rz) (IAAS/Hap)
