IPB University Students Successfully Achieve Awards in China
At the end of 2024, IPB University students again made achievements on the international scale. On the awarding day, a number of IPB University delegation teams received the Best Presenter Award, Best Workshop Award, and The Founder Award.
1. Lalita Mahardika Putri Firmansyah and Frans (Best Presenter Award for Population theme)
2. Putu Oki Wiradita Aryawan (Best Presenter Award on the theme of AI and Sustainable Development)
3. Imroati Fatimatuzzahra and Sarah Firjani Hanisah (Best Presenter Award for Food theme)
4. Rayyan Hasnan, Ratna Atika Huwaida, and team (Best Workshop Award).
Three IPB University delegates also won The Founder Award, as participants with the highest total score. They were Putu Oki Wiradita Aryawan, Imroati Fatimatuzzahra, and Sarah Firjani Hanisah.
The 30th Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium (IJSS) is an annual event organized by Tri-U member universities.
This activity aims to share student research results and discuss current issues. The host of Tri-U this year is Jiangsu University, China.
Besides the host, there are five other universities participating in this activity, namely Mie University Japan, Chiang Mai University Thailand, Guangxi University China, Maejo University Thailand, and Chiangrai Rajabhat University Thailand.
The topic was “AI and the Sustainable Development of Human Society, Population, Food, Energy, and Environment”. In addition to seminars and symposiums, this Tri-U also invited participants to participate in cultural observation and cultural exchange, workshops, and listen to a special report from the Nobel Laureate, Prof Jean-Marie Lehn.
The 30th Tri-U IJSS was closed with performances from each university. The IPB University delegation also performed a modified dance from traditional Indonesian dances at the Tri-U 2024 farewell party.
