IPB University Releases 461 Innovation KKNT Students in 2024 in 52 Villages
In order to realize community service, the Directorate of Agromaritime Community Development (DPMA) of IPB University carried out the 2024 Release of Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT) Innovation Students.
This year, 461 students accompanied by 21 field lecturers carried out KKNT Inovasi in 52 villages located in Bogor City, Bogor Regency, and Cianjur Regency. The program runs from 16 December 2024 to 25 January 2025.
In his remarks, Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Deni Noviana said this activity was an excellent opportunity for students to apply the 5C concept, namely Creativity, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, and Complex Problem Solving.
“The 5C concept consists of Creativity to find local solutions, Critical Thinking for critical thinking, Collaboration for multi-stakeholder cooperation, Communication for effective communication techniques, and Complex Problem Solving to solve problems quickly,” she explained.
Furthermore, he advised, as representatives of IPB University, students must bring good values and attitudes, and maintain the good name of IPB University in the community.
Meanwhile, Director of PMA IPB University, Dr Handian Purwawangsa, said that the KKNT program is a student learning program that aims to solve problems faced by the community and local government through local resources.
“I hope that students can integrate with the community and implement the knowledge that has been obtained, as well as learn from experiences and situations in the community,” he said.
He added that students must maintain the good name of the campus in the community and maintain communication with the local government. In addition, in the midst of extreme weather, he hopes students can maintain their health and be more careful when they are in the field. (AS/Nr) (IAAS/RUM)
