IPB University and PT Cendikia Data Andalan Agree to Sign MoU

IPB University and PT Cendikia Data Andalan (Data Academy) agreed to establish cooperation in the fields of education, research, community service and resource development. The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) was conducted in the LKST Conference Room, IPB Campus Taman Kencana, Bogor (28/11). 

Prof Arif Satria, Rector of IPB University welcomed the cooperation with PT Cendikia Data Andalan. In his speech, he conveyed the importance of data development for research needs.

“This Science Techno Park (STP) area is where IPB University’s research and innovations are produced. In addition, startups are incubated here and we hold meetings with the industry so that the products of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) can penetrate the global market,” said Rector. 

He added that this collaboration is expected to open up opportunities for students to pursue a career in data science. This is in line with the opening of new study programs at IPB University, namely Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Smart Agriculture. 

“Hopefully the establishment of this collaboration can provide impacts and benefits for IPB University and PT Cendikia Data Andalan,” he hoped.

Chief Executive Officer of PT Cendikia Data Andalan, Lutfi Ardiansyah expressed his deep appreciation and was honored to be able to establish cooperation with IPB University. 

He hopes that this collaboration can have a positive impact on both parties, especially in the field of data science. “Currently, the importance of data development in all fields. For that, we have a joint mission to develop data science and we can realize it together,” he said. (AS/Rz) (IAAS/RUM)
