Prof Khaswar Syamsu, Chief of HSC IPB University, expressed pride in assisting Super Indo throughout its halal certification journey. “This achievement not only reflects Super Indo’s dedication to providing quality products but also their commitment to meeting the high halal standards expected and deserved by consumers,” he stated.
“We believe halal certification is more than just compliance. It embodies a holistic approach to food safety, quality assurance, and ethical responsibility,” he added, noting that this accomplishment strengthens consumer trust in the Super Indo brand.

For us, halal certification is not just a label; it is a reflection of our company’s values that prioritize quality and customer satisfaction,” said Boudewijn van Nieuwenhuijzen, President Director of Super Indo.
Dr H Muhammad Aqil Irham, Chief Secretary of BPJPH, praised PT Lion Super Indo’s accomplishment. “With this halal certification, Super Indo supports the growth of Indonesia’s halal industry ecosystem, in line with Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Assurance.”
He further emphasized that this step aligns with the government’s program, which mandates halal certification by October 17, 2024, to ensure consumer trust in certified halal products.
Ir Muti Arintawati, M.Si., President Director of LPPOM MUI, added, “This achievement is proof of Super Indo’s commitment to uphold quality and integrity standards in their products.”
