LKST IPB University Holds Monev 10 Funding Recipient Teams of ADB’s PRIMESTeP Innovation Research Improvement Program
Institute of Science and Technology Areas (LKST) IPB University held an internal monitoring and evaluation (monev) to the recipients of the Innovation Research Improvement Program funds, Promoting Research and Innovation Through Modern And Efficient and Technology Parks Project (PRIMESTeP), Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 2024 at the IPB International Convention Center, Bogor (12/11).
Assistant for Innovation Development of LKST IPB University, Prof Dwi Guntoro said that this program is the development of research and innovation funded by Foreign Grant Loan (PHLN) from ADB.
He said, the existence of this program can accelerate the innovation process so that it can be immediately implemented in the industrial world.
“There are two main themes in this program, namely research development and innovation development. From IPB University, as many as 10 teams have passed the selection,” he said.
Prof Dwi continued, the selection process began with the submission of proposals, which were then reviewed by the helpdesk for administrative assessment and presentation.
He said, the proposal with the highest score is sent to the center for further review and will be selected again until it passes to the funding stage
Fund disbursement is also divided into two stages, 70 percent in the first term and 30 percent in the second term.
“In the internal monev, we will check the absorption of funds and the physical percentage of the program so that the funds used are balanced with the results achieved. If there are obstacles, we will provide resolution steps and solutions,” he said. (dr/Rz) (IAAS/RUM)
