Agrianita SKHB IPB University Holds “Sabtu Sehat” Event, Becomes Foster Mothers for Student Dormitories
The Agrianita of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) and the Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta) at IPB University organized the “Healthy Saturday at the IPB University General Competency Education Program (PPKU) Student Dormitory” event at the Hall of Dormitory A5 on November 2.
In this program, Agrianita Faperta served as the “Ibu Asuh” for the A1 Women’s Dormitory, while Agrianita SKHB took on the same role for the A2 Women’s Dormitory. The Healthy Saturday event is a regular activity held by the Wulan Agrianita IPB University Center for Family Welfare Services (PPKS).
This event included various support stations, such as Free Health Check Station, Counseling Station, Nutrition Improvement Station, Preloved Items Station, and Education Station.
“Health definitely starts with daily habits, and those habits are also supported by mental well-being,” said Eli, a representative from Agrianita IPB University.
“We have also provided counselors to assist students. Physical health must be supported by mental health because a healthy mind leads to a healthy body,” she added.
At the end of the event, students received free healthy food. This initiative aims to strengthen solidarity between foster mothers and IPB University students. (AP/Rz) (IAAS/RUM)
