Monev Dospulkam 2024: Proof of Synergy between IPB University Innovation and Community Development
In order to improve and refine the Dosen Pulang KampungĀ (Dospulkam) program, recently the Directorate of Agromaritime Community Development (DPMA) of IPB University held Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities.
The series of Monev Dospulkam 2024 activities were opened by Prof Ernan Rustiadi, as the Vice Rector of IPB University for Research, Innovation, and Agromaritime Development.
In his speech, Prof Ernan said that Dospulkam is an activity that has unique and different characteristics of service. According to him, the characteristic is the implementation location which is located in the hometown of the lecturer, so that it has a sociological closeness to the IPB University lecturers who run the program.
“Some places related to history will also be built into social capital. This relationship and friendship is what we continue to maintain and become capital in order to carry out community service,” he said.
The Monev session was held virtually through the Zoom Meeting breakout room which was divided into three rooms. Each room is accompanied by a reviewer who evaluates the performance and implementation of the program.
The reviewer team consists of Prof Pudji Muljono, as the first room reviewer. Then Dr Agus Oman Sudrajat as the second room reviewer. Furthermore, Dr Nandi Kosmaryandi as the third room reviewer.
Monev Dospulkam emphasizes the sustainability of the program, improving the quality of outputs, and the impact felt by program targets, such as communities, institutions, students, farmers, fishermen, and so on.
The 2024 Dospulkam program is carried out in 75 locations spread across all provinces of Indonesia. This number has increased from 2023 which was only 51 locations. This year, Dospulkam was also able to involve 314 lecturers, almost double the number of lecturers in 2023 of 173 lecturers.
To support program sustainability, Dospulkam is also integrated with the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program, the Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture (KKNT), various research, and other community development programs.
Through this, the Dospulkam IPB University program has become a tangible manifestation of the contribution of academics in advancing Indonesian society, with the hope of sustainability and further development in the coming years. (*/Nr) (IAAS/SNI)
