First Participation, Agrianita Gallery IPB University Displays Creative Works at INACRAFT 2024

Gallery Agrianita IPB University for the first time participated in exhibiting creative works at the International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) 2024, Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC), Jakarta (2-6/10).

In this exhibition, Agrianita IPB University Gallery exhibited various products, ranging from sewing craft, paper craft, crochet, fashion accessories to healthy food.

The Chief of Agrianita IPB University, Retna Widayawati expressed her gratitude and pride because the handmade products made by Agrianita IPB University mothers successfully passed the curation and penetrated the very prestigious INACRAFT exhibition.

“My hope it doesn’t stop here. This is the starting point for Agrianita members to be more enthusiastic in their work, and hopefully we can continue to fill the INACRAFT exhibition and also other exhibitions,” she said.

Vice Chairman of Agrianita IPB University in Economics, Suci Nur Aini Zaida, MEng said that after participating in the INACRAFT 2024 event, she believes that the products from Agrianita’s mothers have the potential to penetrate the national and Asian markets. Because, INACRAFT is already at the international level, including Asia.

The Manager of the Indonesian Handicraft Exporters and Producers Association (ASEPHI) at West Java, Rizal Rahman was amazed by the various products belonging to the Agrianita IPB University Gallery. “Hopefully this can continue to be developed,” said Rizal.

Meanwhile, Member of the INACRAFT 2024 Curator Team, Vinto Bustam Efendi admitted that he was very impressed with the presence of Agrianita as an IPB University women’s organisation that is committed to developing crafts. He also assessed this Agrianita as one of those who care about kriya in Indonesia.

“I appreciate that there are activities for women who develop crafts for the community and women at IPB University. Continue to support IPB University,” said Vinto.

IPB University alumnus, Luhur Budijarso expressed his joy and surprise to know that there was an Agrianita IPB University Gallery booth. He appreciated the extraordinary creative energy and the quality of the works exhibited.
