Increase Competitiveness and Global Competency Standards, LKPE Conducts International Certification Test for IPB University Students
The Institute of Education and Professional Certification (LKPE) from IPB University held an international certification test for students, 9/21. This program aims to provide internationally recognised certification, so that students have credentials that can compete in the global labour market. This certification was attended by 400 IPB University students from different faculties and schools.
Dr Pria Sembada, Vice Chairman of LKPE IPB University for Certification and Competence said, this international certification test is an effort of IPB University to ensure that its graduates have capabilities and competence standards that are recognised globally. He added that this international certification is a strategic step in supporting the vision of IPB University to produce graduates who not only excel at the national level, but also are able to compete in the international arena.
“Students who pass this certification test will get a certificate that is recognised in various countries and industries, thus opening up wider career opportunities. We hope that fellow students will be certified and in the long run will be beneficial in improving their portfolio and competitiveness in facing the post-campus world,” he said.
Dr Pria Sembada explained, the certification offered covers various fields of digital skills, including Microsoft Office Specialist, Meta Digital Marketing, Adobe Certified Professional, Cisco Networking, to Project Management. In this activity, students can directly know the results of the certification test at the end of the session, and make it possible to get a real-time competency evaluation.
One of the participants, Sofiyah, an IPB University student from the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Management, said, “This certification test gives us confidence and competitive advantage when we get into the world of professional.
