Successfully held the Summit Day, IPB University KKNT Innovation Team Builds Togetherness in Gedong Karya Village

The IPB University Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture (KKNT) team successfully held a culmination day event in Gedong Karya Village, Kumpeh District, Muaro Regency, Jambi. The event was attended by the Chief of Gedong Karya Village, Datuk Tamrin. Various traditional competitions were held to build a sense of togetherness and memories for local residents.

“The series of activities that took place included various competitions involving children and mothers. The competitions include cracker-eating competitions for children, sack races, and tug-of-war competitions for children and mothers. In addition, flour relay and water relay competitions were also one of the highlights of the event,” said Ghozi Maulana, Leader of the KKNT Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture team.

Ghozi continued, the event was closed with a betel nut climbing competition involving local youth to add to the atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm of the community. “This activity not only aims to entertain the residents but also to give a positive impression as a memory for the people of Gedong Karya Village,” he said.

Gedong Karya Village Chief, Datuk Tamrin appreciated the event, calling it a very good and festive activity. “We were very entertained, the residents were very happy. The event has not yet started but the residents are already crowded,” he said.

He hopes that with the implementation of this Summit Day, residents can establish better relationships between students and villagers and leave good memories that will be remembered by all participants. (*/Lp) (IAAS/NAU)
