IPB University Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture (KKNT) students in Tanjungwangi Village, Pacet District, Bandung Regency, West Java held a Digital Marketing (Digimar) program. This activity was carried out to expand the marketing of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) products in Tanjungwangi village.

In this activity, KKNT Innovation IPB University students provide education on how to use online sales applications, create online sales accounts, and help create logos and improve packaging for MSME products in Tanjungwangi Village. More precisely, the MSME players visited by KKNT Innovation IPB University students were Mrs Entin’s cracker MSMEs.

“MSME players in Tanjungwangi Village have very interesting products. However, their marketing is still limited around the village. Therefore, we are interested in encouraging the marketing of MSME products in Tanjungwangi Village to be wider, namely by marketing products online,” said Muhammad Nabil Astaqafi, KKNT Innovation IPB University student, who is in charge of the Digimar program.

He explained that at the beginning of the implementation of this program, KKNT Inovasi IPB University students first provided education to Mrs Entin regarding the benefits of selling online. After that, the students helped create an online sales account for Mrs Entin, and then provided socialization on how to use the account.

“Because she did not have her own brand, we also helped her create a logo and brand for her crackers. In addition, we also helped to improve the packaging for Ibu Entin’s crackers to make them more attractive,” said Nabil.

In addition to socializing the benefits of online sales, KKNT Innovation IPB University students also helped in the process of making crackers and also documented Mrs Entin’s cracker products to be uploaded to the sales account.

KKNT Innovation IPB University students used Shopee as an online sales application provided to Mrs Entin. The name of her Shopee account is Krupuk Renyah Bu Entin.

“The Digimar program is expected to help Mrs Entin in selling her cracker products throughout Indonesia. That way, it can improve Mrs Entin’s welfare financially,” Nabil hoped. (*/Rz) (IAAS/PRO)
