Expanding Business Partnership Network: Himasilkan IPB and Sufarm Team Present Product Marketing Training
The Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program Team (PPK Ormawa), Aquatic Product Technology Student Association (Himasilkan) IPB University has held a product marketing socialization by presenting Syafira Ahmad from Sufarm as a resource person.
This activity took place in Mekarsari Village, Bogor, West Java, attended by women farmer groups (KWT) and family empowerment and welfare (PKK). The socialization with Sufarm as the resource person, aims to provide motivation and ways to develop products while still paying attention to market opportunities.
Syafira Ahmad as the resource person said, “Product marketing requires networking with mentors in the modern trade (MT) field and strengthening branding through social media.”
Modern trade (MT) is one of the steps needed as a form of product marketing so that it can be recognized by the public at large. Sarni as a KWT member said, “Today’s socialization activity is exciting, because the speakers who came are also good and add knowledge to us.”
The socialization with resource person from Sufarm is expected to increase the community’s insight on how to market products so that they can be accepted by consumers, enter supermarkets, and be widely known in the market. (*/Rz) (IAAS/ZQA)
