IPB University Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture (KKNT) students in Trijaya Village, Mandirancan District, Kuningan Regency, West Java have held a workshop. This activity was held in the Trijaya Village Hall Office Hall and was attended by the village chief, village officials, partners, and the entire Trijaya Village community.

The purpose of this workshop is to present the work program plan that will be carried out by IPB University students during the 40 days of KKNT Innovation. Sakhradita Aurora Putri, a student representative said, this work program was based on the problems faced and the potential of Trijaya Village.

Putri said, her team agreed to raise the theme ‘Utilization and Improvement of Trijaya Village Potential Towards Village SDGs-Informed Agrotourism Village, Sustainable Strategies and Implementation for Economic, Social, and Environmental Development’ as a solution and innovation from the problems in Trijaya Village.

The work program is designed according to the needs of the Trijaya Village community which is divided into three main programs: (1) Empowered Potential, Trijaya Village; (2) Cipta Harmoni, Encouraging Innovation; and (3) Sustainable Agroecosystem.

These three main programs include five sub-activities, namely Eco Friendly Art Day, Trijaya Village Tourism Potential Mapping, Trijaya Young Scholar, Trijaya Village Gemarikan, and Trijaya Village Farmer Rembug.

“These programs are expected to be the first step to branding and increasing the interest of the outside community in Trijaya Village through the potential and innovation of the local community, so that it can grow the local economy, especially as an agro-tourism village,” she said.

The workshop also involved interactive discussions between KKNT Innovation students, village officials, and the community. In this activity, students and the community exchanged questions, suggestions, and criticisms regarding the work program plan. Through this discussion, it is hoped that the work program can be aligned with the needs of the community.

The results of the work program presentation in this first workshop received positive responses from the community and village officials. “This is a good first step and opens up opportunities for IPB University students to continue the KKNT Innovation program with more confidence with the full support of the Trijaya Village community,” he said.
