IPB University Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture Students Ready to Contribute to Bangun Jaya Village, Mesuji Regency
Eight IPB University Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture students held Workshop 1 at the Bangun Jaya Village Hall, Tanjung Raya, Mesuji, Lampung. This workshop is a socialization activity for the IPB University Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture students’ work program to the community.
The Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture team coordinator, Muhammad Narazaky Pratama explained that the purpose of this workshop was to introduce the work program that will be implemented during the service period in Bangun Jaya Village. In addition, this activity is also a means of introduction between IPB University students and the village community, the majority of whom work as rubber, cassava, and oil palm farmers.
This event was attended by the Chairman of Bangun Jaya Village, Fachrudin, and his staff. Also present were the Chairman of the village’s family welfare empowerment (PKK), the head of the family association (RK), and village officials.
The IPB Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture in Bangun Jaya Village carries the theme ‘Sustainable Development of Agromaritime Communities to Achieve Socio-Resilience’ with five main areas, namely campus introduction, healthy lifestyle, plantations, village website publication, and village diversity mapping.
Narazaky conveyed the importance of community participation in this Innovation KKNT activity. “We ask for cooperation with the village community during the implementation of our Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture activities. Hopefully the work program that we run will provide blessings for Bangun Jaya Village,” he said.
Bangun Jaya Village welcomes the activities that will be carried out by IPB University Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture students. It’s hoped that IPB University students can help the local community in the potential of Bangun Jaya Village and improve the village’s image.
The Chairman of Bangun Jaya Village emphasized that students can collaborate with the Chairman of RK and the community in general in implementing the Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture activities, especially in the website creation and village mapping programs. He hopes that students can focus on working on these two activities so that the potential of Bangun Jaya Village can be known by the wider community.
“I think this website is important to improve the image of the village. In addition, this mapping is also good because the RK chairman himself does not necessarily know the boundaries of his RK,” said Fachrudin.
