Increase Children’s Investment Value, Quality Family School Educating Parents in the Village
Desa Babakan held the second meeting of the Quality Family School (QFS) program, featuring Dr Istiqlaliyah Muflikhati, a practitioner and lecturer at IPB University from the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences (IKK), Faculty of Human Ecology (Fema).
This activity aims to provide a deep understanding for the participants about the importance of investing in the quality of children, and to motivate them to continue actively participating in subsequent programs. Through this program, Desa Babakan is expected to continue building quality, competitive, and prosperous families.
During the event, Dr Istiqlaliyah presented a topic on ‘Investing in Children to Improve Child Quality.’ The material emphasized the importance of viewing children as a valuable investment, including aspects of education, health, moral values, and emotional support.
In her presentation, she outlined various important values of children, including religious, economic, social, and psychological values. “The knowledge related to child investment is very important to be understood by everyone, both those who are married and those who are not married,” she said.
Dr Istiqlaliyah also highlighted the sacrifices of parents in terms of human resources, material, and time. She emphasized that children are the most precious treasure for parents.
