IPB University through the Dosem Pulang Kampung (Dospulkam) program successfully held an innovative workshop entitled “EchoInnovate: Workshop on Audio Visual Based E-Proposal Making for the Development of Dukuhpicung Village, Luragung, Kuningan, West Java”.

The event, which took place at the Dukuhpicung Village Office, aimed to improve the skills and capacity of village communities in making attractive and persuasive e-proposals by utilizing audio visual technology and artificial intelligence (AI). This activity involved 30 participants from the youth and village government.

“EchoInnovate introduces a new way for village communities to develop and deliver proposals to stakeholders, including the government and funding agencies,” said the team leader, Dr Abung Supama Wijaya.

Dr Abung explained, by combining audiovisual technology and AI, the platform allows users to create e-proposals that are not only informative but also interesting and persuasive.

The IPB University Vocational Lecturer said the EchoInnovate workshop aims to empower village communities with relevant digital skills, enabling them to more effectively communicate local needs and potential to outsiders.

“We are trying to maximize the technology that has developed based on collaboration with village communities. In the future, the team will assist the village youth starting from the stages of understanding the potential of the village, technical production of photos and videos, proposal narratives, sponsorship and partnerships, and publications,” said Dr Abung.

Furthermore, he explained that during this program, participants were guided by IPB University lecturers and students in applying technology to make e-proposals for the needs in the village.

“We really appreciate this activity. I hope EchoInnovate will not only improve the technical capabilities of participants but also strengthen collaboration and synergy between technology, innovation, and community development. Thus, every voice can be heard and every valuable idea can be realized,” said H Irianto.
