Building Togetherness, IPB University Holds Gathering Between Organ Leaders
In order to build togetherness, IPB University held a gathering between organ leaders. The leadership of the IPB University organ consists of the Academic Senate (SA), Board of Trustees (MWA), Rector, Vice Rector, Institute Secretary and Council of Professors. This activity was held at the IPB International Convention Center, Bogor (2/7).
This activity was also in the context of handing over the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Mendikbudristek) to IPB MWA Members for the 2024-2029 period and IPB MWA Members for the 2019-2024 period.
In his remarks, Chairman of the IPB University Academic Senate for the 2024-2029 period, Prof Ujang Sumarwan, expressed his happiness over the recent issuance of a Decree regarding the Appointment of new MWA Members for the 2024-2029 period from the Minister of Education and Research and Technology.
“On behalf of the Academic Senate, we are happy to receive news regarding the decree appointing new MWA members for the 2024-2029 period from the Minister of Education and Research and Technology. “The process for selecting MWA members went smoothly, and we really appreciate their contribution and dedication to the progress of IPB University,” he said.
Prof Ujang hopes that in the future coordination between the Academic Senate and MWA can be carried out frequently, so that collaboration will become closer and all issues can be discussed well.
“We also express our thanks to all organ elements for their contribution in bringing progress to IPB University. “This gathering event will lead us to a better future,” he said.
Chairman of the IPB University MWA for the 2019-2024 period, Prof Tridoyo Kusumastanto congratulated the selected MWA members for the 2024-2029 period. According to him, the main key in maintaining IPB University’s values is unity and harmony.
“If we all work together, we can solve any problem and make a big contribution to the progress of IPB University and education in Indonesia,” he said.
Furthermore, Prof Tridoyo said that currently IPB University has a good financial architecture, starting from asset utilization, investment, as well as two new policies related to investment committees and sustainable funds.
“Hopefully this will become a collective force to accelerate the progress of IPB University and have a real and significant impact on the Indonesian people,” he said.
According to the Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria, MWA is a vital organization for the development of IPB University. He said, “MWA IPB University is really working hard to build trust. This trust means that various problems can be resolved easily. A positive spirit makes us comfortable working together.”
Regarding statutes, Prof Arif said that the statutes created must be adjusted to make them simpler and more agile. In this way, IPB University can move more quickly and effectively in facing future challenges.
“IPB University’s statutes must be able to support flexibility and responsiveness in decision making. “This allows IPB University to innovate and develop according to the demands of the times,” he said. (dr/Rz) (IAAS/EXC)
