Abror’s Experience, IPB University Accounting Students Participate in the MSIB Program at PT Adhimix Precast Indonesia
The Internship and Certified Independent Study (MSIB) Program allows students to explore their interests and talents to achieve their best potential. The Freedom of Learning – Independence Campus (MBKM) provides practical work experience as initial preparation for students’ careers.
MHD Abror Aldzaky, IPB University Vocational School student in the Accounting Study Program (Prodi) is one of the participants who passed the Internship and Certified Independent Study (MSIB) program. Through MSIB, Abror had the opportunity to take part in an internship at PT Adhimix in the finance department.
PT Adhimix is a company operating in the concrete industry, construction services and investment. This company opens an offer on the Independent Campus page to give selected students the opportunity to experience the real world of work.
Through this program, Abror admits that he can apply concepts such as data input, data analysis, risk management and financial planning. Abror is also involved in budget management process activities as well as operational control and implementation.
“I was given the opportunity to be directly involved in work activities at the company. It’s not just about understanding financial reports, but also about how to make the right financial decisions in real situations,” said Abror.
During the internship period, Abror gained a lot of experience and training, such as carrying out financial department activities, managing budgets, and learning how to control and carry out operations. He was also very inspired by the team’s attitude and dedication.
“They really push to always create something new and improve themselves consistently. I and other interns were invited to develop critical thinking and analytical skills, which are needed in the world of finance,” he explained.
Abror said, “Participating in the MSIB program is not only to gain experience and develop competencies, we can build relationships, develop soft skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership. These skills are very important to support technical abilities in a financial career.”
The MSIB Internship Program not only hones students’ financial skills, but also prepares them to become workers who are ready to go directly to the field. With real-world experience, practical learning, and professional networks, students are ready to face challenges in the dynamic world of finance. (MAA/ARK/Rz) (IAAS/HNJ)
