Undip Medical Faculty Delegation Conducts Benchmarking to SKHB IPB University

The School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University received a visit from the delegation of the Faculty of Medicine of Diponegoro University (FK Undip) on 3/6. This visit was part of Faculty of Medicine (FK) Undip’s benchmarking for Animal Housing and Laboratory Animal Management at SKHB IPB University.

Vice Dean for Resources, Cooperation and Development of School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University, Dr Andriyanto welcomed the visit and explained the various facilities owned by School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University.

He emphasized that in addition to facilities, other important factors are funding and human resources (HR). “HR is the key to success in management, because they are responsible for coordination between lines so that there is no miscommunication,” said Dr Andriyanto.

Representative from Undip Faculty of Medicine, Dr Pulong said “Thank you for welcoming us warmly. I hope Undip can continue to strengthen cooperation with the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University both in the fields of education, research, and community service,” he said.

Some lecturers and education staff who attended and were involved in the activity, including Dr Amaq Fadholly, drh Tri Isyani Tungga Dewi, Vera Nora Indra Astuti, and other School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University staff.

The Undip delegation also visited various facilities including the Teaching Animal Hospital (RSHP), Poultry Health Research Farm (PHRF), and Reproductive Rehabilitation Unit and Equestrian Park. They were also invited to visit the Laboratory Animal Management Unit (UPHL). (IAAS/HLF)
