IPB University, as one of the leading universities in Indonesia, is always committed to improving student abilities and skills. One of them is through intensive simulation and coaching to assess the progress of implementing the Student Creativity Program (PKP2) in 2024.

The PKM Team of the Faculty of Forestry and Environment (Fahutan) IPB held intensive simulations and coaching with internal reviewers, to prepare students for the competition. The activity was carried out on 21/6.

“There are five PKM Community Service (PM) teams, three PKM Exact Research (RE) teams, and one PKM Entrepreneurship team enthusiastically taking part in this activity,” said Dr Adisti PP Hartoyo as the person in charge of PKM Fahutan IPB University.

Prof Noor F Haneda as Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs and Alumni Affairs at Fahutan IPB University also attended and gave a speech. She said that this activity was a form of the faculty’s commitment to supporting success and sparking student enthusiasm for learning.

“The PKP2 simulation aims to prepare students for the PKP2 assessment. “In this simulation, students are asked to present the results of PKM implementation, followed by a question and answer session with internal reviewers who are experts in related fields,” explained Prof Noor.

She continued, this simulation was carried out with settings that were made as similar as possible to real conditions. It is hoped that students will be able to provide practical experience in conveying their ideas confidently.

“In addition to the PKP2 simulation, the Fahutan PKM team was also given intensive coaching as direction, as well as input regarding presentation visualization, presentation techniques, as well as effective question answering techniques. “With thorough preparation, students are expected to achieve brilliant achievements and make real contributions to society, as well as related parties through innovative student programs,” said Prof Noor.
