Maintaining the Quality of Education, Master of Biochemistry Study Program IPB University Arrival of Lamsama’s Assessor Team

IPB University arrives at the Institute of Independent Accreditation of Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (Lamsama), Thursday (6/20). The visit was in the context of field assessment for the accreditation of the Master of Biochemistry Study Program (Prodi) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of IPB University.

Vice Rector of IPB University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Deni Noviana welcomed the arrival of two Lamsama’s assessors in the Rector’s Meeting Room, IPB Dramaga Campus. Prof Sri Puji Astuti Wahyuningsih from Airlangga University and Prof Nuryono from Gadjah Mada University were present as assessors to conduct field assessments.

“We are here to be assessors in the field and hope that everything is in accordance with the data we obtained from IPB University. Hopefully the assessment activities can run smoothly and ensure the quality of the Master of Biochemistry Study Program of IPB University remains of high quality,” said Prof. Sri in her speech.

“IPB University is open to all constructive suggestions for the sake of maintaining the quality of the Master of Biochemistry Study Program. We hope that this field assessment can make us continue to develop in a better direction,” replied Prof Deni Noviana.

Prof Deni added, the assessment is always done both internally and externally. Therefore, she said, the external assessment from Lamsama’s side this time aims to maintain the quality of the study program concerned.

“In addition, an external audit is present in order to carry out the mandate of the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Permendikbudristek) Number 53 of 2023 concerning Quality System Assurance in Indonesia. This activity also affects the international accreditation of IPB University related to the Superior accredited study program,” she concluded. (Frans/Rz) (IAAS/IAN)
