IKA Faperta IPB University and Landbouw Golf Club Bogor Hold Charity Golf Tournament
The Alumni Family Association of Faculty of Agriculture or Ikatan Keluarga Alumni (IKA Faperta) IPB University and Landbouw Golf Club Bogor organized for the first time the Faperta IPB Charity Golf Tournament at Klub Golf Bogor Raya on 23/6.
In addition to strengthening the relationship between alumni, this tournament also aims to raise scholarship funds for Faperta IPB University students who are experiencing difficulties in completing their studies.
The event was opened by the Chairman of the Faperta IPB Charity Golf Tournament Committee, Dr Dadan Hindayana. In his speech he expressed his hope that this tournament could become a routine activity that benefits students and strengthens the bonds between alumni.
Chairman of The Alumni Family Association of Faculty of Agriculture or Ikatan Keluarga Alumni (IKA Faperta), Octen Suhadi emphasized the importance of solidarity and support among alumni for mutual progress. “With this tournament, we are not only playing golf, but also showing our concern for the next generation of Faperta IPB University,” said Octen.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of IPB University, Prof Suryo Wiyono appreciated this initiative and hoped that activities like this could continue. “Students who get this scholarship are expected to complete their studies well and contribute back to the alma mater and the community,” said Prof Suryo.
He continued, with the spirit of togetherness and care, the Faperta IPB Charity Golf Tournament is expected to have a positive impact on all parties involved, especially for students who need support in completing their studies.
This tournament was organized by Landbouw Golf Club Bogor, The Alumni Family Association of Faculty of Agriculture or Ikatan Keluarga Alumni (IKA Faperta) and Faculty of Agriculture IPB University. It is hoped that this activity is not only successful in raising scholarship funds, but also able to become a productive meeting and networking event for all participants. (IAAS/HLF)
