Agromaritime Provision for IPB University Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture Students 2024

The Directorate of Agromaritime Community Development (DPMA) IPB University held a Public Lecture on Agromaritime Community Development to provide education to students regarding various important aspects in the agricultural and maritime fields.

Apart from that, this activity also aims to provide insight into the insurance claim process procedures for Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture (KKNT) students, the importance of implementing the IPB Digitani application platform, as well as implementing the digital farming concept.

Prof Ernan Rustiadi, Vice Rector of IPB University for Research, Innovation and Agromaritime Development provided material on the concept of agromaritime community development. He hopes that students will be able to apply IPB University innovations and work together with the community to create new innovations and ensure the sustainability of local communities. “Students must be able to bring and apply IPB University innovations in society, while still paying attention to the local context, effective communication and community values,” he said.

Dr Supriyanto, Assistant Director of Agromaritime services and Digital Farming presented material regarding the vision and activities of Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture 2024. Meanwhile Dr Roza Yusfiandayani, Vice Chairman of the Farmers and Fishery Center of IPB University delivered important information regarding the procedures for logging in and using the IPB Digitani application. “The existence of the IPB Digitani application is expected to make it easier for students to access various information and programs related to agriculture widely, and this is needed to support activities in the community during Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT),” he said.

Dr Anna Fatchiya, Chair of the IPB University Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (PPKS), provided material on socializing the prevention of sexual violence. “Education regarding preventing cases of sexual harassment is very important to create a safe and comfortable environment for all,” said Dr Anna.
