Supporting Students’ Sports Interest and Talent, IPB University Vocational School Holds Vocational Sukabumi Sport Competition 2024

In order to support the distribution of sports hobbies among students, the Vocational School of IPB University Sukabumi Campus held the Vocational Sukabumi Sport Competition 2024 (V2SC) which took place on May 7-11, 2024 at IPB Sukabumi Campus, West Java.

The competition presents a number of sports such as futsal, basketball, table tennis and badminton. In addition to physical competition, Vocational Sukabumi Sport Competition 2024 also organized e-sport matches for Mobile Legends (ML) and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) categories.

The chief organizer of the event, M Fathul Rahman, revealed that the V2SC event was held with the aim of providing space for students to channel their interests and talents, especially outside the academic field.

“The main purpose of this activity is to provide opportunities for IPB University Vocational School students who have achievements and interests in sports to be able to explore their talents,” said Fathul.

In addition, this activity is also a forum for participants to increase solidarity between students through healthy competition events by prioritizing sportsmanship values and improving student achievement outside campus activities.

“V2SC also aims to strengthen the spirit of togetherness and solidarity among IPB Sukabumi Vocational School students through healthy competition and achievement,” he continued.

Through organizing the V2SC 2024 event, he hopes that IPB University Vocational School students who have potential and interest in sports can also showcase all their talents. In addition, they also have the opportunity to get more support from various parties.

This activity was attended by IPB University Vocational School students from various study programs, including Agribusiness Management, Digital and Media Communication, Fish Hatchery Technology and Management, Livestock Management Technology, Seed Industry Technology, and Ecotourism.
