MBKM in the Food Quality Assurance Supervisor Study Program at IPB University, Presents Teaching Practitioners
The Food Quality Assurance Supervisor Study Program (JMP) IPB University Vocational School continues to innovate in providing quality education for its students. This time, by organizing the “Learning with Practitioners” program which was held on Friday (18/5). This event is part of the Food Additive Control Course which focuses on Controlling the Use of Preservative, Sweetener and Coloring Food Additives in the Food Industry. This activity invited two practitioners in their fields, namely Andri Camus, STP, MP from PT. Mane Indonesia and Aginta Friska M, STP, MSc from PT. Realfood Winta Asia.
Course coordinator, Made Gayatri Anggarkasih, STP, MSi, explained that this program is expected to provide students with practical insights that can be directly applied in industry. She said, through the Teaching Practitioner program, she emphasized that collaboration with practitioners is a strategic step to bridge the academic and industrial worlds.
“Through this program, we hope that students can gain practical insight that can be applied directly in industry. Collaboration with practitioners is a strategic step to prepare JMP IPB University study program graduates to have broad insight and be able to take part well in the world of work,” said Made Gayatri.
The IPB University lecturer continued, with this program, it is hoped that students can better understand and apply the knowledge they have gained in lectures to the real world of work.
On this occasion, Andri Camus, who serves as Savory Application and Business Development Manager at PT Mane Indonesia, shared his experience in controlling food additives. He said the food industry must understand the latest regulations and technology in the use of food additives (BTP).
“It is important for the food industry to understand the latest regulations and technology in the use of food additives, so that the products produced are not only safe to consume but also meet high quality standards,” he said.
Meanwhile, Aginta Friska, Research & Innovation Supervisor at PT. Realfood Winta Asia, emphasizes the importance of controlling the use of food additives (BTP) in the food industry. “The use of BTP in the food industry must refer to regulations, pay attention to product characteristics and also the effects on health,” said Aginta.
