IPB University Receives National Accreditation Visitation of Biotechnology Master Programme by Lamsama
IPB University received the visitation of the national accreditation assessor team from the Natural Science and Formal Science Self-Accreditation Institute (Lamsama). The team of assessors was received in the Rector’s Conference Room, IPB Dramaga Campus (6/5). The study programme (Prodi) which was nationally accredited was the Master of Biotechnology Programme.
In this visitation, Lamsama brought two assessors namely, Prof Yosephine Sri Wulan Manuhara (Airlangga University) and Prof Amin Setyo Leksono (Brawijaya University).
Vice Rector of IPB University in the field of Education and Student Affairs, Prof drh Deni Noviana conveyed, Biotechnology Master Programme is one of the 57 master programmes owned by IPB University at this time.
“With a history of establishment starting in 1992, this study programme has become part of IPB University’s academic identity. This year, the documents that have been prepared by the Graduate School of IPB University have gone through a rigorous assessment process to ensure the quality and relevance of the programme,” he said.
Prof Deni hopes that the assessors will be able to see first-hand the implementation of this study programme in the field.
“We invite constructive input from the assessors that will help to continuously improve the quality and relevance of this study programme. With the cooperation and support of all parties, we are confident that this activity will run smoothly and produce optimal benefits for the progress of IPB University Biotechnology Study Program and the common good,” he concluded.
One of the Lamsama assessors, Prof Yosephine Sri Wulan Manuhara expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from the leaders of IPB University. According to her, this evaluation is an important part in ensuring the quality and relevance of study programmes.
