IPB University and IPMI Management College Agree to Continue Cooperation, Focusing on These Three Areas
IPB University and IPMI International Business School have agreed to continue their cooperation. The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on this cooperation was carried out by the Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria and the Chairman of IPMI, International Business School Prof Aman Wirakartakusumah at the Science and Technology Regional Institute (LKST) of IPB University, Taman Kencana Campus, Bogor, (28/5).
This cooperation is focused on the fields of education, research and community service. In the field of education, the scope of cooperation includes the development of study programs or adjustments to the teaching syllabus, short semester programs, training and capacity building, as well as joint seminars and workshops.
In the field of research, both parties will conduct joint research and publish journals. This cooperation also includes joint community service and joint partnership programs in business or industry.
“IPMI as an educational institution in the field of business and management that is very credible and has a very good reputation in Jakarta, in my opinion, this cooperation is a momentum to synergize between IPB University and IPMI International Business School. Hopefully the cooperation with IPMI will be stronger and more concrete in many ways, especially in the field of education,” said Prof Arif.
Director of Cooperation of IPB University, Dr Jaenal Effendi added, the synergy between IPB University and is IPMI International Business School mainly in downstream management, such as in food management and other management that has the potential to become the expertise of IPB University and IPMI International Business School.
“IPB University has so far been extraordinary upstream and downstream. It is hoped that this can be maximized if it is well cooperated. With this collaboration, hopefully IPB University will have a multiplier effect role in the community, both internationally and nationally,” said Dr Jaenal.
Chairman of IPMI International Business School, Prof Aman Wirakartakusumah expressed his gratitude for IPB University’s willingness to continue its cooperation. He hoped that the collaboration between IPB University and IPMI International Business School could reconstruct a program that highlighted food, and IPB University became the spearhead.
“Hopefully by renewing the memorandum of understanding between IPB University and IPMI, this can become the focus of priority and interest of IPB University and IPMI. God willing, I will continue to help continue to initiate so that this cooperation is realized,” he said. (MHT/Rz) (IAAS/ZQA)
