The Directorate of Agromaritime Community Development (DPMA) IPB University held a socialization aimed at digging deeper into the aspects of financial accountability and substance in the implementation of the 2024 Dosen Pulang Kampung (Dospulkam) program.

This event is a strategic step in strengthening the understanding and awareness of Dospulkam program participants of the importance of good financial governance and transparent reporting processes in supporting the success of the program.

The session provided a platform for participants to gain a deeper understanding of how to manage the funds and resources provided efficiently and effectively, as well as ensuring that the use of these funds has a significant positive impact on the communities served.

“The Dosen Pulang Kampung Program is here to reward lecturers, they can utilize the funding that has been facilitated by IPB University to carry out community service activities, especially in their birthplace,” said Dr Supriyanto, Assistant Director of Agromaritime Services and Digital Farming, DPMA IPB University.

This event involved resource persons namely Niken Widyastuti, SE (Assistant Director of Treasury, Directorate of Finance), Kusnadi, SE, MP (Assistant Director of Taxation, Directorate of Finance), Widaryanti, SPi, MM (Head of Resource Audit, Internal Audit Office) Lina Herlina, SKom, MKom (Information Management and Digital Transformation Institute).

This socialization highlights the importance of understanding and complying with financial regulations, IPB University’s tax obligations, audit procedures related to public funds and the importance of transparency, as well as the use of the Grant Scheme Finance Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system integrated with HRPortal to increase efficiency in managing program finances.

In this socialization, Niken Widyastuti, SE, MM encouraged lecturers who were beneficiaries of the Dospulkam program to routinely report their finances through the IPB University HR Portal and input financial data every month.

Regarding the recording of financial reports, Widaryanti as Head of the Resource Audit Division, IPB University Internal Audit Office added, “We cannot work alone, but we need to work together to record financial reports on time.”

This socialization is not only a place for participants to understand the procedures and substance in the financial management of the Dospulkam program, but also a place to gain broad and deep insight into the importance of compliance with regulations, transparency, and accountability in maintaining the integrity and sustainability of community service programs.
