SKHB IPB University Holds Socialisation of the Election of Members of the Board of Trustees for the Period 2024-2029 as well as Halal Bihalal
School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University has held a Socialisation of the Election of Members of the Board of Trustees (MWA) IPB University Period 2024-2029 and Halal Bihalal of SKHB Big Family on 18/04.
The Socialisation event was led by the Chairman of the SKHB Senate, Prof Bambang Purwantara. He elaborated on the authority of MWA IPB University, the organisational structure and composition of MWA membership in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 66 of 2013 concerning IPB Statute.
Chairman of the Academic Senate of IPB University, Prof Ujang Sumarwan in his speech said that MWA IPB University for the period 2024-2029 holds a very strategic role because it will deliver IPB University in the next 5-10 years. “Therefore, we want the members of MWA, especially those who represent the community, who can make a major contribution to IPB University,” he said.
“Hopefully this activity can increase friendship, solidarity and togetherness for the entire SKHB IPB University family,” explained Prof Ujang.
The socialisation of the Election of Members of MWA IPB University Period 2024-2029 was delivered by Prof Dietriech G. Bengen. He explained the requirements and criteria for members of the MWA, the process of nomination by units at IPB University, and the timeline for the election of MWA members.
The activity continued with the Halal Bihalal of the SKHB Big Family which was filled with Eid al-Fitr tausiah delivered by Prof Srihadi Agungpriyono, with the theme “The Benefits of Routine Practice after Ramadan”.
“If we routinely carry out a practice, we will get benefits including being liked by Allah, bringing Allah’s help in times of difficulty, being able to make up for shortcomings in mandatory practices, the reward will still be counted even though we are unable to do the practice and become a cause for husnul khotimah,” explained Prof Srihadi.
The event was also attended by SKHB Senate Members, Secretary of the Academic Senate of IPB University, Prof Agustin Indrawati; Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs of IPB University, Prof Deni Noviana; Chairperson of the Election of Members of the Board of Trustees of IPB University for the Period 2024-2029, Prof Dietriech G.
