As one of the centers for the implementation of the Computer-Based Written Test – National Selection Based Test (UTBK-SNBT) in 2024, IPB University prepared various preparations for the smooth implementation of the exam. One that does not escape the attention of IPB University is the health aspect.

Chairperson of the IPB University Health Unit, drg Titik Nurhayati explained, the preparations that had been made were the appointment of person in charge (PIC) doctors and nurses who would be assigned specifically to handle cases that might occur during UTBK.

“Medical officers are appointed for each session. The number of officers is three doctors and three nurses for each session accompanied by two ambulances that always stand by for patient transportation if needed, either evacuation to the IPB Clinic or referral to the hospital if the case cannot be handled at the clinic,” he said.

Furthermore, IPB University has prepared complete medical facilities. This aims to provide optimal care for participants who experience health problems during the exam.

“Ambulance facilities are placed at two important points, namely IPB Dramaga Clinic and Vocational School. Patrols are carried out in the morning and afternoon at the beginning of each session. If at any time needed at the location that is the responsibility of each, the ambulance will immediately launch,” added drg Titik.

For exam participants, drg Titik also advised them to prepare their health condition. As UTBK-SNBT 2024 participants, health preparation is also the main key to achieving optimal results.

“I hope, because UTBK is the most awaited thing and surely participants have prepared knowledge to face the exam, of course, participants must also prepare their physical health so that the exam will run more smoothly,” she said.

Participants are advised to get enough sleep for 7-9 hours the night before taking the exam. drg Titik also mentioned the importance of drinking water and consuming clean and healthy food as an effort to prevent digestive disorders and respiratory problems.

With careful health preparation and full support from the IPB University Health Unit, it is hoped that UTBK-SNBT 2024 participants can face the exam with confidence and achieve satisfactory results. “IPB University is committed to ensuring the welfare of all parties involved in this education and evaluation process,” she said.
