IPB University Graduate School Receives Courtesy Meeting Monitoring and Evaluation of LPDP Managers
The Graduate School (SPs) of IPB University received representatives of the Education Fund Management Agency (LPDP) of the Ministry of Finance for courtesy meeting monitoring and evaluation (monev) of master and doctoral programmes receiving LPDP scholarships at SPs IPB University. The activity was held in Room 301, SPs IPB University Darmaga Building, Bogor on Monday, 22/4.
Prof Dodik Ridho Nurrochmat, Dean of SPs IPB University thanked LPDP for helping and together in this monev. He said, this monev is very necessary to get complete information on LPDP recipient students.
“Currently the total number of SPs IPB University students is around 8000 people. With this monev, we hope that it will improve and help students to immediately complete their studies so that they can graduate on time,” he said.
Prof Agus Buono, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of SPs IPB University explained related clarifications from LPDP, starting from the status of good students, ordinary status, and probationary status as well as Unconditional Letter of Acceptance (LoA) issued by SPs IPB University, namely prospective students declared accepted without any other conditions.
“The status of students will be evaluated every semester, for trial status will be evaluated in the first semester and ordinary status will be evaluated in the second semester. Through this status we can see the seriousness and academic ability of students in studying at SPs IPB University so that they can complete their studies on time, “he explained.
Meanwhile, Luh Putu Rina Maharani, MBA as Chief of the LPDP Scholarship Monev Sub Division said that currently the demographics of LPDP scholarship recipients are 39,040 people and for domestic destination universities, IPB University is the top 4 favourite destinations for LPDP scholarship recipients.
“LPDP started in 2010 managing endowment funds with four programmes, namely education, research, higher education and culture, until now there are 154 trillion funds managed by LPDP,” she said.
She added, currently there are several LPDP scholarship programmes that prospective students can choose from, namely affirmation, targeted and general scholarships, “This affirmation scholarship is a master’s and doctoral scholarship programme intended for groups of people who come from affirmation areas.
