School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences IPB University Establishes Cooperation in the Field of Veterinary Instruments and Development of Pet Nutrition Experts
School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University received a visit from the Veterinary Standard Testing Center (BBPSI) and the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Indonesian Veterinary Association (PB PDHI) and Prof Grrace Hui Suan Ng from the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) Malaysia on Tuesday, 19/3.
Dr Fery Fahruddin Munir, as the Chairman of Veterinary Standard Testing Center (BBPSI) Veterinary said that the visit of BBPSI Veterinary was in order to realize the potential for cooperation in education and research with School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University. “The cooperation includes assistance programs, dissemination, and application of veterinary instrument standard testing results,” said Dr Fery.
“I hope that cooperation with BBPSI Veterinary can become an educational vehicle for School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University students and encourage increased innovation and research in the veterinary field,” said Dean of School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University, drh Amrozi.
On the same occasion, a visit was made by the Chairman of PB PDHI in the context of cooperation regarding the development of Human Resources (HR) for pet nutritionists and research in the field of pet nutrition.
“We are also certainly very supportive of cooperation with PB PDHI with efforts to develop human resources and increase innovation and research in the veterinary field, especially pet nutrition. I hope there will be a follow-up to this cooperation, both in the fields of education, research and community service in the future,” said drh Amrozi.
The general chairman of PB PDHI, Munawaroh expressed his appreciation for the welcome given by School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University. “I hope that the visit with Prof Grrace who represents the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) Malaysia can strengthen the field of education and research, as well as a guest lecture at School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University,” said Munawaroh.
Furthermore, the guests visited several facilities in the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University environment and the Education Animal Hospital (RSHP). Present at the activity, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University, Prof Ni Wayan Kurniani Karja, and Vice Dean for Resources, Cooperation and Development of School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB) IPB University, Dr Andriyanto.
