IPB University Rector Receives Award as Empowerment Figure by Rumah Zakat
Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria received an award in the category of Empowerment Figure at the Public Expose agenda by Rumah Zakat. The award was given for Prof Arif Satria’s contribution in realising happiness for Indonesia and the World. The award was given at the Public Expose agenda which took place on Thursday, 1/2 at The Hotel Sultan and Residence, Jakarta.
Rumah Zakat Public Expose is an annual agenda to launch the movement that will be carried out in 2024. The Public Expose aims to introduce Rumah Zakat’s programme campaign that will be held throughout 2024 with the theme #ManfaatHebat untuk Indonesia to donors, stakeholders, partners and the general public.
As a thank you for the support given, Rumah Zakat has a special annual tradition every Public Expose, which is an appreciation event for figures who deserve to be an example and inspiration. Working seriously, spreading goodness and happiness in the life of the nation and state to the global scope for the advancement of Indonesia.
In this year’s Public Expose series, Rumah Zakat gave the “Tokoh Pemberdayaan 2023” and “Happiness Award 2023” awards, which are the highest appreciation to figures at the national level, regional level, partners and stakeholders who have collaborated in efforts to realise mutual growth throughout 2023.
Prof Arif appreciated Rumah Zakat for the appreciation. According to him, being a positive figure can provide inspiration and a good legacy. He also invited all parties to always talk about positive things for the sake of change and national progress.
“Hopefully this empowerment figure award will be a driving force to always contribute positively in human resource development and continue to work to provide the widest possible benefits to society,” he said.
He added, the presence of IPB University must provide impact, both to the community, environmental sustainability and for economic growth and poverty alleviation. Prof Arif Satria hoped that he and IPB University would provide more benefits to the country of Indonesia. (Lp)(IAAS/RSL)
