IPB University Rector Honoured as Inspiring Leader by Media Indonesia
Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria was honoured by being named one of Indonesia’s ‘Inspiring Leaders’. The award was received in the book launching event “The Indonesian Next Leader” in Jakarta, Thursday (1/2).
The Inspiring Leader award was initiated by Media Indonesia and Solutee. According to Media Indonesia President Director, Gaudensius Suhardi, the Inspiring Leader figure is the result of selection from every child of the nation, inspirational leaders, with a number of criteria. Namely those who have achievements, performance and contributions to Indonesia.
“We select leaders who have achievements, performance and positive contributions to society, nation and state. We processed the data and selected inspiring and outstanding Indonesian leaders from various executive circles,” he continued.
Regarding the book launch, he said that The Indonesian Next Leader is a book that can be an inspiring leadership reference to become a leader in Indonesia today and in the future.
For this achievement, Prof Arif Satria expressed his gratitude. He also expressed his gratitude for all the support and cooperation from all parties so that he could achieve this achievement.
“Thank you to Media Indonesia for including me in the Inspiring Leader book. Hopefully this will encourage all of us to continue to take part in order to respond to change,” he said.
Prof Arif Satria’s work in the academic world has inspired many people. Every idea and notion is always awaited by the public in answering today’s national problems, especially about leadership issues.
He is often asked to attend various forums to share his perspectives and experiences so far. His perspectives and thoughts are often expressed in the mass media, including Media Indonesia.
At a relatively young age, Prof Arif is now serving his second term as Rector of IPB University. He has been in this position since 2017 until now. Prof Arif, who is currently also appointed as Chairman of the Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association (ICMI), adds to his track record as an inspiring young leader. (Rz) (IAAS/RUM)
